Don't you just love the internet? Introducing THE COLORADO PROGRESSIVE VOICE, the progressive voice in the Colorado political conversation. We will bring you the finest (and only) progressive, grassroots analysis of issues in Colorado, the USA and the world. By combining A-List guests, sharp and intellectual analysis with a bit of silliness,  The Colorado Progressive Voice intends to elevate and shape the discourse.

Our History

The first incarnation of this show was a weekly radio show at KVDU studios out of the University of Denver, when we were titled THE COLORADO PROGRESSIVE PULSE. This initial phase allowed us to shape our format, and get our first taste of interviewing guests. Highlights from the early shows include and interview with Prof. Robert Prince, Colorado Speaker of the House Andrew Romanoff, the campaign managers from Colorado for Hillary Clinton, John Edwards and Barack Obama, and influential author and radio host David Barsamian.

However, soon we decided to strike out on our own, purchasing our own equipment. We decided to expand the scope of the show, and re-branded our product as THE PROGRESSIVE STUDENT VOICE (partially because of a server crash). However, the show really began to take off! We had the opportunity to interview radio host Mario Solis-Marich, Presidential candidate Mike Gravel, author David Sirota, bloggers Matthew Yglesias and Nate Silver, and brought you direct coverage from the 2008 Democratic National Convention.

And now, we're taking it up a notch. We're bringing the focus back to Colorado. John is a reoccurring guest on the renowned Mario Solis-Marich Show. Our show reaches thousands of progressives across the state, country and has been downloaded in 28 different countries (we're big in Sweden and China, FYI).
